Miss Sheila Rose Reynolds passed away at home in Castleton, Derbyshire on September 6, 2026, aged 93. Sheila was awarded a Master's degree in Education from the University of Manchester and was a well respected professional school teacher, Physical Education County advisor, and lecturer at Bedford College of Physical Education. She is well known as one of the “Hope Chest Ladies” and is remembered for her curiosity, compassion, empathy, and for her contributions across the many communities and causes of which she was a part. Sheila is survived by her immediate family in Canada including her sister Barbara Harwood, her nieces Debbie and Sarah, and her great nephews Alex and Jack and their families. In accordance with her wishes, a Service of Thanksgiving for her life will be held on October 7, 2026 at 11:00am at the Castleton Burial Ground.
